swell and surf will continue to build. This will maintain dangerous
surf and coastal inundation, especially as STY Sinlaku begins to
move through the Marianas on Tuesday. Inundation has already been
reported at Inarajan Pools. Tinian and Saipan could see wave and
wind driven surf push water on to land up to 10 to 15 feet higher
than the water-level, especially along windward facing beaches and
shores.
Everyone should remain out of the water due to life-threatening
surf conditions. Stay off of jetties, piers, and other waterside
infrastructure.
